The first quarter of 2022 saw notable trends in the performance of the top NFT games on the iOS platform in Africa. Here's a closer look at how the top five apps fared during this period.

IMVU: 3D Avatar Creator & Chat experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, reaching a peak of approximately $1.8K in mid-January and ending the quarter with around $1.4K. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 490 to 902, with a slight uptick to 708 in the final week of March. The app's active user base saw a gradual decline from 7.5K at the start of the quarter to about 5.6K toward the end.

Thetan Arena: MOBA Survival had variable weekly revenue, peaking at $322 in the last week of December and then decreasing to $36 by the end of March. Weekly downloads showed a significant drop from 483 in the third week of February to 93 in the final week of March. Active users also saw a decline from 609 at the beginning of the quarter to 159 by its end.

STEPN, which launched in early February, saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at 22 and reaching 392 by the end of March. The app's active user count also grew steadily, from 39 in early February to 330 by the end of March.

ScratchJr maintained a modest performance in weekly downloads, ranging from 31 to 145 throughout the quarter. Active users saw some fluctuations, peaking at 161 in late January and then stabilizing around 89 by the end of March.

Upland - Buy and Sell Property showed a mixed performance in weekly revenue, peaking at $2.7K in late January but dropping to $86 by the end of March. Weekly downloads also saw a decline, starting at 115 and falling to just 18 by the end of the quarter. Active users decreased from 333 in early January to 220 by the end of March.
